August 20, 2008
The Japanese government has allocated two grants worth a total of US$172,000 to help build a primary school and provide vocational training equipment in the northern province of Phu Tho.
Under a contract signed Monday, $88,488 will be used to build a two-story primary school with 10 classrooms on a 750-square-meter compound.
The remaining $83,500 will help equip Phu Tho Vocational Training College with welding machines to help meet an increasing demand for welders.
